These amazing monsters are why fine artist Tim Murton has been dubbed “the Monster Guy”. Tim started the Twilight Zoo in 1996 as Halloween decorations for the kids. Featured on Martha Stewarts Halloween Special in 2011, these wire and paper sculptures have become a regular part of the Elora landscape every fall. Tim adds to the Zoo collection every year and as the menagerie grows so does the number of people visiting to see them.

With many many thanks going out to the fine folks who help to repaper and gauze the creations each year.

The Twilight Zoo is brought to you with help from The Elora Centre for the Arts,  Centre Wellington Tourism and the Elora BIA

ABOUT THE ARTIST: TIM MURTON

TIM MURTON currently lives and works in Elora, Ontario, Canada.
Born in Hythe, Kent England, Tim emigrated to Canada armed with a B.Sc. in construction technology.  After a relatively brief career in the mining engineering field Tim started a completely new life as an artist.
